SPELEOTHERAPY is a method to treat chronic and allergic respiratory disorders using the unique properties of the underground karst caves. The basic treating factor of speleotherapy is the cave aerosol. Positive factors of the cave's microclimate consist of an absolutely dust free, sterile air without any bacteria and an excellent pH of the aerosol that is perfectly fit for the treatment of asthma and other disorders. Because of this, the karst cave is the natural inhalation room. It is not possible to artificially create such a unique cave aerosol with these environmental properties, especially its stability and prompt self regeneration.
